Super Yacht Loft 74: A Harmonious and Innovative Design

Creating a Unique Play Area with a Double-Story Loft

All started with the idea of developing a great new yacht concept, with the priority of creating a large play area in the stern with a large swimming pool and lounge area with a wide view of the sea. The challenge was to have a great clearance between floors, resulting in a completely different design from what is already available today. The profile of the yacht features a double foot straight aft, with large side windows and a large column, creating a harmonious and aggressive profile.

The Super Yacht Loft 74 is designed to be manufactured with an aluminum/carbon fiber composite superstructure and hull. It incorporates hybrid technology and specifications that minimize its impact on the environment, especially the sea. The yacht is powered by twin electrical plus diesel engines, reducing emissions and operating expenses.

With a length overall of 74 meters and a beam of 13 meters, the Super Yacht Loft 74 offers ample space for accommodations. It can accommodate up to 14 guests in a large master suite, two Loft Suites, and four luxurious suites. The master suite, located on the upper deck, features a private office and two balconies. The Loft Suites, accessible from the main deck, offer a private room, closet, bathroom, and a standing straight double wide outside view.

In addition to luxurious accommodations, the Super Yacht Loft 74 provides various entertainment options. It includes a complete gym, library, spa, and cinema for up to 8 people. For added fun, the yacht can be equipped with jet skis, a heliport, tenders, and even a submarine.

The Super Yacht Loft 74 project started in August 2013 in São Paulo, Brazil, and was completed in October 2014. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to understand the characteristics of motor yachts, including regulations, rules, layouts, and practical use. The challenge of sculpting the loft two-story high ceiling into a beautiful, harmonious, and functional yacht was successfully overcome.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels Design category in 2015. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill. The Super Yacht Loft 74 showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
